Can you buy a IDS off of ebay? Or do I have to take the truck in to Ford have it hooked up to the IDS? If I take it in do I have to have the stock file loaded or can they scan it with it being tuned?
Yes, you can buy it on Ebay, but its pricy for personal use and it requires a yearly subscription update. They can scan it while tuned. Do not let them reflash or do any updates.
