In Search Of a compression tester with an adapter that will actually fit. I’m looking for advice from anyone with first hand witness of an adapter that actually fits.
I bought the Maddox kit assuming I’d be disappointed, but, to my surprise, THE ADAPTER DIDN’T EVEN FIT! The thread is correct, but the crimp joint hits the head bolt and won’t even reach the threads. I looked on Matco’s website and it looks like theirs is the exact same kit as the Maddox.
There are a lot of products on the market that say they fit because they have the correct thread but don’t fit in place. Does anyone know what adapter will fit?
