Keep blowing blinker fuse

05 6.0 blows blinker/brake light fuse almost instant I've checked the trailer harness any ideas? Fuse #18

You got a shorted wire somewhere. Time to start tracing the harness. You can buy a 20 amp circuit breaker to use for testing so you dont blow up a bunch of fuses.

Using the breaker I've isolated it down to the right blinker causing it

Have you unplugged the assembly? If it still does it with it unplugged, at least you have a starting point to trace wires.

Yes still blows fuse with harness unplugged

Only when turning on hazards or right turn signal

Then there is no easy way, start chasing wires. Do you know anybody with a power probe. That may speed the process up a little. You could ohm the power wire to ground to make sure it is a dead short.

Fixed finally found a pinched wire off the harness under the hood what a pita!

Well thought I fixed it but it tripped again today I've narrowed it down to between the column and the hood by unplugging the harness

Front right blinker plug was loose and yes I feel stupid!

No reason to feel stupid at all. It's just the nature of electrical problems.
