Kenwood Question

I have a Kenwood DDX771 I believe and Im trying to figure out a way to make the screen "sleep" while Im driving but also play music. Id rather have to inside of my truck dark while driving at night rather than the glare of my double din

Was wondering the same thing, my DNX890HD is way too bright in night mode.

I guess Im going to just start covering it up. A handle size Crown bag will work.

Black booksock works also. My old man used that in his Lincoln towncar with the big nav screen. Could kinda see through it just enough to see what it said. If the screen is pressure sensitive like android cell phones and not like the iPhones it will still read the touch also. Night mode and brightness turned all the way down were both still crazy bright.
