Manual trans fluid

I know what ford recommends but what do the gear jammers recommend for fluid?

This is my DD/work truck and I live in southern Cali so the coldest it gets is in the high 20's. I have been in colder weather but it'll be rare with this truck

i like royal purple syncromax in warmer temps on an abused trans, but opinions may differ

I know the trans are different, but I have ha good luck with the Mobil 1 in my T56 in my Impala. It seems to be less notchy and quieter than with just normal ATF.

Ran Mobil 1 as well when the truck was a 6spd.

the wrong fluid is better than no fluid!
