Mileage question

I bought my 08 6.4 two weeks ago when I bought it the dash said I was averaging 13.8 mpgs. Now I'm at 12.5. Mainly highway miles aswell. I did get a message on the dash that said clean canister filter (or something close).
If I'm not mistaken the regen takes care of that correct? That was about two hundred miles ago when I saw the messages and my mileage has continued to decrease. Hiw long does the regn typically take?

Is this what I should expect?

This is my truck on 20s with 33" tires. Also have a banks intake and exhaust. Other than that there are little to no performance upgrades.

6.4 with *** on, 12 mpg is pretty normal. I got 11 mpg just cruising around highway/city *** on. Mileage went up to 15-16 no emissions.. SCSB 4X4 stock 20s. Regen usually takes 10 minutes or so. Any codes?

The mpg readout isn't always that accurate. I would hand calculate and record it somewhere like an app on your phone to keep an eye on it. But generally that's about what they get.
