Mirror cap removal?????

Behind the top part of the glass there are 2 clips. Get a flashlight and small screw driver or pick and you can pop them off. Once you shine your light in there you'll see what I'm talking about. It took me awhile to figure it out too, since all my searching came up empty.

Tip the top mirror all the way down. Makes it easier to get to the clips that Pockets described.

Take the actual mirror and pull on it. It is held in by a ball socket. Once the mirror is removed you can access the housing screws. I tried the same thing and mine doesnt seperate. I believe only the early models came appart.

Be careful taking them off. I've got painted caps on my 08 mirrors and now they blow off every time I go through an auto wash. That's what I get for rushing through a swap.

E99 F350/zf6/guages/arp/comp/stellite/ billet wheel/ bellowed... Need more fuel and more air.
