The weekend before I took the truck up to Morgan's, I did get a chance to take the truck to the track. Ran Gearheads tune and ran a 12.3 @ around 112mph. Just dont think the truck was running at its full potential but maybe it was. Didnt get a chance to get the tune tweeked or even try IDPs tune I had.

The reason I think it was off on the tuning or something was bc my 1/8th was damn near identical to my runs with just a tune. With just a tune and no other mods I ran in the 1/8th a 8.05 with a 1.72 60'. With all the mods that night I ran a 7.93 with a 1.71 60'. Then from the 1/8th to the 1/4 she woke up and I gained 7mph from my tune only run which I think is not bad.

Just didnt get another chance to make a few changes to it. Oh well

Hope that makes sense.

yup makes perfect sense. I would expect those kind of times out of truck with a drop in 72 on stock fuel. not a truck with a 75 60's and dual fuelers.

Well we are getting much closer now. The injectors finally got back from being flow tested. And we have been working to get this this done!

Fits soo nice and clean! No downpipe will be visible from the outside.

And this is where it's at now. There is a lot of things to do still but it's getting close. New alradco intercooler is in. The dual progressive kit from nitrous express is almost all installed, gates in and ready to be plumbed. One of the optima red tops are in. The other will get mounted on the frame and battery cables re-routed. Moved the fuel cooler to a new factory one up from and will use it to cool fuel instead of coolant. Un-regulated the return lines and they flow through that cooler now. Lots of small wires and stuff the get tucked away and tidying up. Should run tomorrow. Probably won't be driveable but at least maybe we can hear those ball bearings!

Any reason you didnt just keep the downpipe 5" instead of going down to 4", other then to keep it up in the fender? I cant wait to see how this works out... Been dying for someone to do a good build with higher quality turbos.... Not to mention the sizing choice as well...

Those pictures of the piping and engine bay look GREAT! Once she's all tucked in there, you don't see the amazing work on the backside of the motor, but man.. Great job Morgan. I bet the OP is pretty dang excited for this.

No reason to go 5". No performance gain anyway. It just makes it harder to fit, not to mention the original downpipe was 4" and the new one goes into the lower half of the two piece downpipe already existing, and it has a 4" delete pipe.

Thanks guys. I'm really excited to see how this thing drives and performs. It will be dynoed before Adan comes back to get it. So we should have numbers too.

Got it running. Took it for a little drive. Not finished mind you. But enough to check and see how it's all working.

No gates hooked up so it's way low on boost. Will get them dialed in. Stock h&s hd300 tune set on level two. Only made like 35 psi. It also has 3.55 gears and 35's..... Spools oh so good! Very stock like. Can't wait till it's all tuned and dialed in!

Mind you this thing spools awesome and this is only the first test drive with zero tuning...

Super excited to say the least.
