Need a good Chevy Allison

I'm looking for a good used Allison for my Dmax. I let my BIL borrow it and he was screwing around and limped it. I'm trying to sell the truck so I doubt someone would buy it knowing it will eventually need a trans so I'm trying to find a good unit to swap in.

It's just in limp mode or is it actially toast?

It limped once and set a CEL for 5th gear incorrect ratio. But now it has slipped a few times on takeoff and has a hard 2-1 downshift.

I suspect you had the limp mode cleared?

Yeah I cleared it with EFI Live. Put 150ish miles on it today didn't miss a beat, so it's got at least 700 miles on it since then.

I've been easy on it since I put tunes on it because I didn't want to build a trans for it.

I'd load the stock tune back in it. Sounds like limp mode, re-learn glitches
