I went to crank my truck to leave work today, and it was turning over really slow, almost not at all. I noticed some smoke coming out from under the good so I immediately turned the key off and opened the good to see what was going on. The smoke was coming from the ground strap that runs to the engine block from the body. It looks like there was some sort of coating on the wire that burned off, and as soon as I popped the hood the drivers side battery ground started arcing off. The ground strap had almost burned through the loom on another wire underneath it, so I moved it off of that, and the truck has cranked and ran fine since (I was at work and this is my only vehicle). And I have also cranked the truck around 4 times. Since this seems to be an intermittent problem I have no clue how or where I would begin to trace this down. Any suggestions? The truck is a 95 F-250
