I'm finally caving in and joining after months of stalking. I'm new to the diesel world but not forums. The dodge forums cost me thousands and thousands of posts, time and omg the money these things make you spend
I'm a bow tie at heart but couldn't do another ifs truck. I plan on big power and big tires with this one. I'm coming from an '11 Ram with everything performance and suspension wise under the sun minus a blower. Had a comfortable 10" and 38s riding on Bilstien resis powered by tons of performance mods down to Yukon 4.56 locked ass and Kore axles. Great truck but I couldn't fight the itch. I've looked at diesels for years and was going to buy one before the dodge but got a deal I couldn't pass up. This current truck I was lucky enough to get from an elderly local guy that just wanted his 20k payoff. It was a special order 2009 FX4 with 83,400 gentle miles loaded up with black leather, Nav, rear DVD , camper tow, plow prep...if it was an option he seemed to have got it. either way I'm loving the truck. Had her since October last year and just rolled 5k miles on her. It took me 2 weeks and I had her tuned and deleted with a Minimaxx Race and stealth delete. Better belive I was that guy for a while :flipa:
I'm pretty hard on my trucks. I use and abuse it as a truck. They double duty as DD, hunting vehcle and play toy the 9k farm land. Half my over miles are farm roads and rough county gravel roads. I didn't know this truck was so damn heavy until this duck season...that was a blast lol. She definately is getting lifted here soon so I need help in that and and of course I have the go fast itch and need to learn more! Mods so far are minimaxx race, AFE 5" DP straight pipe to 6", reverse level to 2" block, 325/65(35x13.50) atz I snagged for free, recon black led mirror and cab lights, ddm 55w 6k heads and fogs, 5k LEDs inside and outside the truck(if it was a light it got replaced), some stickers and plasti dip on the wheels and ptm bumpers. I think that's about it. I have the mod bug and am about to go to town :walkin:
Btw if anyone is any dodge or ram forum from the past life I was candy08! To my vets and the currently serving Semper Fortis :biggun:
Here's my previous and current junk

Thanks man. Did this crap from my phone at work and didn't realize I did a short story. Also got the wrong photo in and don't see an edit. That stupid flex pic was supposed to be this one, first day home!

Welcome and good looking trucks. When you do a lift most people and myself will probably tell you to check out the icon and carli lifts. Smooth and awesome.

Can always look into pmf for a lift too. They are a vendor here and can hook you up on everything I'm sure.

If you got the deep pockets look at American force wheels. I think some 22x14s and 38x15.50s would be killer.
