No the pump is driven off the crank, Only thing you can do is disable starting but unhooking the fuel pump relay or similar. There is a place on the front of the oil cooler housing to put a gauge but its very hard to get to.
Usually tho by the time you get all the air out of the fuel system the engine oil will be flowing
If assembled with a good assembly lube, no need to prime. Within 15 seconds of cranking everything should be seeing oil. It'll take 2x that for fuel to build up..
