I bought my first 6.4 yesterday and don't know much about them. King ranch ccsb with 135,xxx. Has a dpf-r tuner. Anybody know much about them? Has an exhaust on it and I know the dpf-r deletes the dpf. Would I be better off looking for another tuner? Truck is also a job 2 truck

You're gonna want an H&S tuner with Gearhead tunes.

Or a SCT tuner that you can load custom tunes to.

With a 6.4, you wanna get a good reliable base going. Uppipes, 6.0 manifolds, valve springs pushrods, studs, low pressure fuel system, all the deletes and a custom tuning and then you have a strong base to go from

Either a vendor here or on the aftermarket performance section.

Checkout Rudy's diesel performance, they have some great prices on a lot of things. Or any vendor really.

Do you have a good CAI? My vote is make sure you get a good CAI and tuner (Mike has the CAI you want) and have some fun. Save funds and be ready to do the mods already mentioned. The one other consideration would be consider doing the LP system now cause hopefully it will help you preserve the HPFP but those are easier to do cab off.
