I'm installing my nitrous kit friday for races saturday but I have no guidance on jetting. Options are .062, .076, .088 and .093. What's everyone's opinion? Will be ran with 300/200s and a 71mm.

Are you hitting it right off the line or on a delay? I run a .74 jet on mine right off the line at WOT. With my injectors its good for about .4 in the 1/8th.

Wot switch .093 solenoid. I figure I may slowly step it up for the .062 and see how it does. And tim ill still be in contact about some larger injectors soon, a couple of things got tossed in the mix that may delay it.

Are you waste gated ?

Matt same question ?

I was gonna throw either one .062-.088 in. But I have a .125 solenoid.

That's usually about where I start with a new set up (.060ish). I just work my way up after that depending on how much fuel (smoke) appears to be left over. Usually up it about .015 or so each pass 'til the truck doesn't go any faster, then I back off one.

No gate here which will be an issue with the 71mm I'd imagine. I planned the nitrous since I run the 75mm but its running good with the 71 so I don't want to mess with the 75 this weekend.

I have at least 50 nitrous passes on my truck, no gate. Anything can happen though, i am well aware of this, but it is still tight after 12,000 miles!

When do you guys spray on the dyno ? It would be completely different then at the track if using wot activation. Ie wot for me at the track is 2600+. Vs a dyno you're 21-2300 ?

It depends on the Dyno. A DynoJet I have all stages on by .9 seconds. On a load Dyno I have all stages on by about 1.7 seconds. WOT is a .043 jet so that doesn't change but the last three are time controlled. Too early and you pop big time.

Edit: Checked notes

Exactly why I'm nervous to spray tomorrow. I'm
Not sure when to dump it in. I'm running a single stage. .062 jet right before the boot that connects to the Y pipe with a .125 solenoid.

Should I reference off of boost or rpm ?

Only problem with RPM and boost ref is if you're power braking on a DynoJet you could accidentally blow past it while power braking and shoot your load early.

Set RPM to 2300 since you will probably peak HP at 2800. That will give you 500 RPM's to catch the curve. Don't power break past 2000. Shoot for 70 mph and at least 15 psi of boost then let her rip.
