when removing the hydro chip does it have to set to stock position before removal?

not sure if the pcm will hold a tune on it or if its all in the chip
I want the pcm to go back to stock calibration
thanks

I believe it's all in the chip. Unplug it it should be stock.

Yup pull the chip no more tune. Putting hydra in the 00 position also bypasses the chip.

As stated, pulling any chip off the PCM will put you back to the PCM calibration. Chips just override the PCM, so any time one is removed it does not leave any footprint.
