So does anyone seal the piston squirters when they build an engine? Just to be clear, where they seat to the block. im not talking silicone or anything that will plug the tube, but perhaps a copper sealing washer, mind you to thick and it will change where is squirts.

I was more concerned about a better spray to the pistons. I still might do it if I find something suitable, I have to recheck to see how well they fit to the block.

Normally you have ti press them in. There is nothing there for a reason, I wouldn't go and waste time trying to reinvent the wheel is all I'm saying, they work as is, and they work good. Why mess with them?

Squirters are good for wrist pin lubrication and piston cooling. Benefits to deleting them would be increased oil pressure at the bearings and less windage.

I'd leave them in.
