Question about grille

The Chrome coating on our grilles is the same coating that is on the headlight bezel correct?

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say yes but I'm sure it's going to be thicker than the chrome in the headlights

Lol. Might have been easier but was thinking about the headlights at the same time so that's how it happened

they can, why cant they?

Clean them with break clean then take 220-300 sandpaper to them, then primer!

You could also try spray oven cleaner. I've heard that is use to strip the chrome on the headlight bezels to be painted.

Nice, thanks guys. I just didn't know if the paint would stick to the chrome crap.
