Rail Pressure: How low is too low?

Ok guys like the title says how low is too low at WOT? I have noticed lately that on the 310 tune and wot my rp drops from 24500 to around 20000-21000psi. When I run the 275 or lower tune it will hold at 25000. I know one of my pumps are getting weak, but how low is unsafe? Thanks in advance.

It's a possibility that your low pressure pump isn't keeping up, since your're draining down from 24.5.

Yea I agree with you, but I still am trying to find out about my question. How low can the raill pressure go before it starts to do damage?

I dont have a true answer for you, but 20k would be my cutoff. Mine will hold 22k on xrace, so I backed down the tune til I could fix my pump, and not add anymore unnecessary damage.

low RP can't cause any damage...just a lack of performance

low LIFT pump pressure could damage the HP pump(s) from a lack of lubricity...but not maintaining RP can cause zero damage.
