Random fuel and oil filter change prompt.

I just de leted and tuned the truck and drove around little bit. When I did a WOT run the truck prompted me to change the oil and fuel filters. Truck is at 67k oil was changed at 64k and filters at 59k.

Sounds like they probably forgot to reset them and its just a coincidence that it came on at that time. Unless that is the only time it comes on and goes right back off...

Mine just did the same thing. I changed fuel/oil about 2k ago and they both just popped up to change.

Does anyone know if the prompts are different for a service notification due to mileage or an actual dirty oil/ clogged fuel filter?

Its based on mileage. Has nothing to do with actual cleanliness of anything.
