Re-locating Recon Off-road lights

I've got two Recon lights that are currently mounted on the brushguard of my truck. I think that the brushguard is coming off this week, as I am tired of it and the only function it seems to have is holding the lights. They are a little over 7 inches from the mount to the top of the light. Would these work in place of the OEM fog lights, or maybe behind the grille? Any input is appreciated.

those lights can be put anywhere. can you modify/ fab anything??

I haven't really done that yet. The most I feel confident with is drilling honestly.
