Apologies in advance, I tried searching the forums but came up with a bunch of unrelated stuff. Anyone know when rim sizes changed for the Superduty? I have an e99 7.3 and a friend has a 2003 7.3 and is wondering if my rims will fit his truck. I have access to some obs aftermarket rims, as well as some 6.4 stockers, but not sure on the bolt pattern. Any info would be appreciated!

Bolt pattern changed in 99 superduty is 8x170 obs is different. Anything 99-04 will fit, anything 05-current will fit but will need a spacer to prevent rubbing on the leafs. Most run a 2" spacer.

02 ccsb, lariat, 7.3 auto, 4x4, 4" duals, 6637, IH bellowed up pipes, RiffRaff billet wheel.

All obs trucks are 8x6.5

99-current srw trucks are 8x170

99-04 drw trucks are 8x170

05-current drw trucks are 8x200

05+ trucks have different axles, in order to run a 05+ wheel on a 99-04 you must run a 2" spacer.

:whs:

also-you cannot run a stock 16" rim from a 99-04 on an 05+ as it rubs the brake calipers.
