Worth it to replace the torque converter and put in a billet input shaft? Also debating whether or no to bore .30 over and replace the wrist pins. Plans for 190/100 and a barder turbo. Just want to get the insides done and hopefully not have to mess with the truck again for a while.

If funds allow I'd go ahead with the converter and input shaft. What else are you doing to the engine when it's out? If its going to be down to bare block then I'd replace pistons, but no real need to go .30 over if .10 is good enough or even a hone job

is there a big need to swap out pistons on a 6oh?

torque convertors give a different feel to the truck. worth it imo

a billet input should do you fine a six liters dont make massive torque.

measure the cylinders and that will tell you if you need a bore or not.

Does boring it not help build torque? I understand that with turbos and fuel you can do about anything but i've always gone by there's no replacement for displacement.

Then what about the bearings for the crank? Piston rings? What all needs to be replaced? What all can be reused?

Okay Jared. I'll get with ya in a little while on the wrist pins. Anyone know where I can get the piston cooling jets? Gonna go ahead and replace them while I'm in there.

Don't mean to change the subject, but what barder are you planning on running?

Haven't made up my mind yet. Either stage 2.5 or 3. Gonna spray too. Not sure how much. Trying for a mid 12s dd.

Btw. Thanks Jared. Got the initial order in a few days after I ordered it and can't wait to get this stuff in.

I'm excited myself. Hopefully I'll have most of it done before Ennis in April. Really looking forward to having one of the faster trucks in the College Station area.

Got ya. I'm doing the push rods and valve springs. Also having a full valve job done. Should be a rock solid motor when I'm done.
