Ok, so I'm working with Kevin Cragon at TI Dyno, in Ashtabula Ohio, regarding the 2015 Spring Meltdown, Diesel Dyno Day. While the date has not been set in stone yet, we're looking at a 4/25/15 or 5/2/15 date. We're also in the works spacing out Swap Meet space too. So if you have some performance parts, extra spare parts, or anything truck/diesel related and want to set up a little table or something to sell let me know.

What date would you like to see, and would you be interested in a swap meet?

the weekend of 4/23-4/24 Friday and saturday is the Rudys Diesel event so i wouldn't pick that weekend!

Dually noted. If we plan to early we'll still have a possibility of snow still...and well...I'm done with that crap, haha.

I'm meeting with the shop owner Kevin here in the next week or so, I'll get more details then.

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, working 2 jobs, and doing my hobby/3rd job has kept me pretty busy. Anyways...

The event is May 2nd, and we're doing a first ever diesel swap meet. The day starts at 9am, so we can make sure all the trucks or cars (diesels only) can be done. The swap meet is pretty easy to do, call Kevin and reserve your space needed. Then come to the event as early as 8:30am to start setting up. We hope that this will yield a strong turn out, so we can continue to do it each spring.

Also, TI Dyno once again is donating portions of each paid dyno run to the Ashtabula County APL. So for $75 for three pulls, $10 of your money will go help the APL get food, blankets, and other items needed by organization. They'll also be holding a 50/50 raffle, and ALL the proceeds will go to the APL as well!!

Look forward to seeing you guys there!

i'm considering the drive from Canada. do you know of any high HP trucks planning to be there at all?

Also-how could i be sure to get a spot on the dyno, i don't want to make the drive and not get on. i wouldn't be able to get there until about 1:30pm and would be gone again by 5p

Best way would to be call Kevin at 440-474-2059 let him know you're coming down. They'll add you to the list, and not assign a number to you. This way when you come in they'll roll you on as soon as you're ready. As for high horse power trucks, we've had trucks lay down 800-1000hp. I'm not sure who all is coming this time yet. The October event usually brings out Wesley Beech, and his monster 6.4L's.

who drives the trucks on the dyno

It all depends. Kevin prefers an employee if he has one available, but during the October event, the truck owner drove them. If he uses an employee, it's more likely to be a more consistent runs.

Me and a buddy might be out. I just have to get my t4 set up on with the 468 and wait on some tunes. Should dyno spots be reserved or should we just sign up when we get there

Depends. If you don't have that far of a drive, you can just show up, and sign up. These events average about 20-25 trucks. They usually end around 4-5pm. The later you show, the further on the list you're at.
