I'm doing some research on lift kits. What are the major differences between Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3 and Stage 4 lift kits? I know the bigger the number the more expensive it gets, is that due to more parts? Is worth going to a Stage 3 or Stage 4 lift or should I not waste my money? Looking into either Icon or Carli. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks!

It really depends on the brand you are asking about.
Icon increases their shock levels as the stages increase.

Also, at some point the stages on Icon include 4-link also.

I'm running an ICON 7" Stage I with Bilstien shocks. It rides great with just the stage I. I looked into upgrading shocks and to a 4-link, but Beings the truck doesn't see any Offroad use I can't justify spending an extra $1500 other than for looks. Ill probably never notice the difference in the ride.
