Sterling alloy axles

The factory axles in a 10.25/10.5 sterling are generally considered some of the strongest OEM axles offered in a Factory Differential.
How much better are 1541 Alloy axles & are they worth the extra $$$???

Normally when you get stronger axles (because the stock ones broke) you start breaking the pinion. Most would point you to the dana 80.

maybe the 2011 and up 10.5s will hold up better.. pinion shaft is supposed to be bigger... but yes, dana 80s are stout.
