It sure does look like the lenses are painted in these pictures. But the earlier pictures he posted look to be the housing is painted.

Correct, I bought a set that had painted housings but I've never been crazy about painted insides. So I painted my stock lights on the outside which I think is a cleaner look

How do you prep for painting the exterior?? Must be pretty hard to get a perfect line around the bulb area.
