I took Dustin up on his offer of letting me borrow his xcal3 to tune my truck to take to Scheid next week. Loaded up x race and x street and am very pleased with the innovative tunes. I have been getting a code. p041d- exhaust recirculation temperature A ckt high. Could this be from a bad exhaust sensor?

Would this code come up due to an actual high temp or a bad sensor??

Also, here are some pictures of the truck

P041D is usually related to a bad EGRTA sensor, which is the Pre-turbo sensor. It has nothing to do with the EGR system.

I am pretty sure with Eric's tunes, he electronically closes the valve and you need to choose yes yo the egr delete question. But it is still worth while to delete it (for off-road driving only of course) lol

Ahh I glanced over the OP post and seen exhaust recirculation and just assumed without reading thoroughly. My fault

No, the egr is still on the truck. I need to change my sig.

Are these sensors a bitch to change?

You can pull the passenger fenderwell and it should be right there
