My truck is at the shop right now. I am yanking my ported rails back out and putting the stock rails back in. Same issue has come up with very tiny pieces of metal in the fuel drained from the rails. Same thing we found 6 months ago and I decided not to replace the pump. You can only see it if you drain it in a cap and shine a light over the fuel. Is it a bad Idea to button this thing back up again with out replacing the hpfp? Is this just normal wear from a higher milage pump? 90,000 miles on the truck

I would replace it for sure. Not worth the chance of ruining your injectiors over something that could have been prevented eairlier.
