tranny temps

wondering what everyone is seeing for tranny temps with just regular everyday driving. my temps consistently get over 200 degrees and I have seen as high as 208

195-204 is the range I've noticed. Could have gone higher at some point. It's normal.

Mine stays up around 200 also I've never seen mine go above 203 while just normal driving though

ok well that's some relief, I had read on here somewhere that anything over 200 shortens the life of the tranny

Both mine used to run 205-210 towing heavy. Never any issues at all with them.

I think the thermostat maintains it right at 200.

I usually see 190-210 with a 60/40 mix of hwy and city driving.

I typically see 190-199 empty and 194-204 towing 15K. Never seen higher than 208 pulling a long hill....
