Well looks like my truck is gonna be down for atleast one month. Dang machinist is 1 month behind but he's the best in the area so I figure it's worth it.

is it the whole block? Or just the heads? You should contact the shop that does all of TSD's work here in SA. That way you don't have as much downtime.

It's in bryan. My uncle is a ford guru. Not sure which machine shop he uses but whoever it is, he's been using them for years. I've gotta work truck too that I can use for anything so time is not really an issue with me. Plus I trust my uncle to do it right no matter what and it cost me less than half of what it would have cost me to use someone else.

And yes I'm doing the entire motor. The heads lifted the other day. So we decided to go ahead and pull the motor and go through everything. Building up the tranny a little too with billet input shaft, torque converter, and the middle solenoid.
