Tuning and gauges

Question..... I'm close to pulling the trigger on some tunes and I was wondering what does everyone use for gauges and are they absolutely necessary? The package I have priced with No Limit has a CTS2 with it. My only issue is that I haven't seen a mount that actually looks good.

I know that may sound like a dumb question but I wanted to ask. The last diesel I actually modified was an '06 Dodge 2500 and with it I had to closely monitor EGTs when towing because they would shoot through the roof if I wasn't careful. I installed Autometer boost, trans temp, EGT and fuel pressure gauges but on the other hand I know some guys that didn't have them.

So I guess my question is whether or not the CTS2 is necessary and if so how do you have it mounted?

Shout out to Mike too....... the guy is super helpful and quick to respond!

Really like the cts2. I have the edge egt probe connected to it also. Just using the suction cup. I would like to get a different mount once they are available though

I'm running the CTS and I am pretty happy with it. With all the EAS attachments, it should be able to do most anything you could want to watch or control. I am running a modified H&S MM dash mount but I haven't seen anything really attractive out there. Mike will take good care of you.

I am also running the cts2 and at first I hated the idea of having a suction cup stuck to my window but I stuck it up on the top left of the windshield and learned to live with it. I would definitely recommend buying one it is a great little tool.

Really doesn't look bad with the suction cup anyway

It's really not that bad I just wish there was a nice looking pod. Maybe I'll make some sort of bracket.

I've found that but everything I've seen says it won't fit for some reason. The Edge site specifically says it will not fit 2013-2014 and another site I found says it won't fit with 2013+ because the dash contours are slightly different.

You would think they would make some mounts for it
