Used XRT Pro compatibility

I have a lead on a used XRT Pro that was used on a 6.7 Cummins. It is unmarried and ready to go. My question is how can I tell what vehicles and years it will work on? Can the serial number tell me anything? What about MCC compatibility? I'm thinking about grabbing it so when I get another 6.7 PSD I am all Serbs I can use it on my 5.9 Cummins in the mean time.

all XRT PRO's are MCC capable

Race tuners (pre 1.0.3.x firmwear) will only work up to a 2012 Ford and you have to buy a VIN unlock code

Street tuners (1.0.3.x) will work up to 2014 Ford with no VIN unlock necessary

most "race" tuners you see being sold brand new are Street tuners with delete capability... huge pet peeve of mine as it causes a lot of confusion for end-users

That's what I'm saying lol. I will ask about some details on it. I just don't want to spend the coin and not be able to use it, not that I can't sell it, say if I got a '13 and needed to delete it!

The street ones are all emissions intact, unless it's an unlocked unit right?
