Very sad topic

So one of my buddies has a Duramax(lb7) with intake straight pipe and superchips and we raced my truck has street tune from Eric sct and 5in exhaust and he smokes my ass and it's really really disappointing!

What can I do next?
I don't have head studs!

What cab config? both trucks 4x4? Lift, tires and wheels? If you have a CC and he has a RC you're at a HUGE weight disadvantage. You're probably at weight disadvantage anyway, and that should be factored in.

Even if they are the same configuration I believe the Chevy trucks weigh less. I don't know much about them ( cus I don't like them) but I've heard the Chevy and gmc trucks are the lightest of the big 3

Injectors turbo's and tuning. Only way to fly.

^^^whs def do studs first! While Ur at it might as well do a coolant filter, egr delete, and a regulated return. I'd also invest in a good set of gauges if u don't have them already

Both trucks are crew cab short bed 4x4s! I know he thinks the superchips is the best!

37's aren't helping. But turbo an injectors will get u there. Those trucks are lighter so he's got u there but with some extra power I'm sure you'll take him. I also can't believe he's running super chips hahaha.

What about studs and a bigger time? Cause with injectors and turbo I'll need studs anyway
