Not that impressive this load but this is the norm lately as folks can't afford to buy more than 150 bales at a time.

I can't wait till we run of out these compressed alfalfa cubes that we have now for the horses. I'm just gonna run up about an hour north to NY state and get a couple 1100lb square bales of it. That should last us a while.

Yeah those alfalfa cubes just ain't the same as the real deal. My ponies get grass hay when the pastures are under the snow...

We ended up getting a decent deal on round bales. 4 horses and 3 calves is what we have at the moment and we had to buy all 72 round bales to get them at $25 each. Only issue is that they're being over fed and we're going through 3 300 lb bales a month, and it's not even cold yet. The alfalfa is just a treat basically, but it's extra nutrients for them too rather than just first cut hay and grain all the time.

Picked up our new 32' x 6'8" Delco from Paris,Tx last week. I already sold all the tires and wheels off of it and I'm picking up a new set of 18 ply 17.5's for it Saturday.

I think it's interesting that they still make those trailers with the tarp tops. I guess if you need a trailer to get the job done without all the bling that's the way to go.

I've been thinking about changing the wheels and tires off my triple axle had a blow out about 800 miles into our trip in December but I had cruise set at 80 and trailer tires don't like those speeds.

Aluminum stock trailers are just too expensive for us, and metal top trailers don't last down on the gulf coast. Moisture stays under that metal roof and will rust it out way too soon. Tarps are cheap to replace if its ever needed.
