Put straight pipes on the 7.3 using the stock 3.5 inch dumping it in front of the rear tires. Welded it up using an arc welder with 6018 rod at 60 amps and I do not think I will ever use an arc welder to do exhaust work again, not a huge fan of swiss cheese.

you do realize that the factory exhaust is stainless steel and 6018 is not ment to be welded like that.. it's a all position rod but anything vertical is suposed to be ran uphill.. no dragging down... and not ment for stainless!

But still, you have to admit welding exhaust tubing with a buzz box isn't much fun LOL

Everything is making so much sense now. The fact that I was able to end up doing it though impresses myself a little bit. Guess I'll go borrow a buddies mig next time though.

dont matter to me... 1/16" 6011 is smooth on galvanized tubing..

you might want to go over it with a mig a if you have one available to borrow anyway.. it won't take long and the little bit of weld that is holding it will easily break off..

Changed oil to LE 8854 and sent a sample of the T6 for analysis.
Finally went and played with 4wd launch with auto Trac turned off. Ho Lee krap that was fun...until auto Trac turned itself back on and fought mightily to keep me going straight despite my best efforts to follow the friggin road. Luckily ther wasn't a vehicle coming in the other lane. Finally got her convinced to turn and eventually back in my lane.
Then I gave her a rudimentary bath.

Drove behind someone with a serious oil leak. Scared the hell out of me when I saw oil on the windshield.

Also installed my ts chip with Dyno proven tunes 😁
