So I've read on more than a few threads that using an additive everything I fill up will help with mileage and overall longevity. I have an 08 6.4 250. What kind of additive should I be looking for? Any brand in specific?

I've heard nothing but great things about opti-lube. I ordered that and will be trying it out for myself soon

Lubrication engineers: full torque. Best stuff I've ever tried and I've tried about everything out there. Quicker starts, less smoke, 1.5+ better mpgs over other makes. Look em up on the sponsor page, a lot of good reads.

This^^

Have yet to use it but this is what I'll be switching to, as everything iv read seems promising.
Iv used staydne (spelling) and amsoil and was not really impressed. But if I was going to get either one again it would be staydne.

Stanadyne. We get a pallet every year and sell it all.

Everything from a performance blend to a winter and summer blend.

My Lubrication Engineers rep at my work just gave me a pint of winter Full torque. Looking forward to trying it out! He said it was in development for 4 years before it actually came on the market.

Anyone run Power Service Diesel Kleen? Had good results with that in my 7.3, curious if the 6.4 likes it. Its easy to get here and I don't have to order it which is a plus.

How about royal purple max-tane? Employees at my local auto part store spoke highly of it.
