What is involved in removing the lower windshield trim? I need to remove the cowl vent panel to investigate my chattering wiper blade linkage. Is there a tool I can get or make? I don't want to hack up the trim trying to get it off.

Flathead screw driver always works for me, there's a little clip on the back of it you need to push.

You'll probably have to take all the molding off, not just the bottom peace.

Getting it back on it tricky though, I always push too hard and dent it.

Nick I think I got that off without removing the windshield trim.

I have had that off before without removing trim also.

Thanks everyone for the input. I finally had time this past weekend to tackle this. I'm pretty sure whoever designed the window trim was a miserable bastard with no soul who feeds off people's frustrations and misery. The panel was still a bitch to remove, should of taken the hood off too. At least I was able to get in there and get my wiper linkage serviced, no more skipping wipers!
