Nice numbers. Is shift on the fly still up in the air and do you think it will be tough to do tunes for dual pumps, turbos, trans, etc or do yall have pretty good baselines to start with?

I'll go ahead and address shift on the fly, since it has been mentioned so much.

It is off of our drawing board, and in the first stages of testing for all model year 6.7 applications.

I don't want to make an official comment on whether or not the first shipments of 2013-2016 tuning devices will be equipped with it or not, because I'm simply unsure at this point.

Our implementation of shift-on-the-fly differs a good deal from what was previously available on the market. Previous methods were, IMO, a compromise of ECU functionality, and as such had some deficiencies- such as not being able to accept custom tunes. With Spartan slated to offer custom tunes again after release, I didn't feel this was a viable option worth pursuing, so we went a different direction with it.

This S-O-F-T, when it's ready, will allow between 3 and 5 power settings, and yes, we will be able to make custom tunes to work with it. And yes, it will be compatible with already existing 2011 and 2012 products.

However, due to the way it works, it is a much more difficult and time-consuming program implementation, so don't expect it tomorrow with yesterday express shipping. If availability falls after our initial product release, (which is honestly more likely than not), it will be available as an update after the fact.

But your voices have been heard.

Truck is a 2015 F350 SRW, 3.55 rear gears and stock 265/75/R20 tires- AFE stainless exhaust, S&B intake, and our race tune.

I know the '15-'16 MY are hot topics but there are quite a few '11-'12 ownwers out there. Many of whom have been waiting patiently (in most instances) for updates. I own a 2011 and I'm currently on the fence about which tuner to go with. Any news regarding those MY's?

This is correct. Please see my post below- I don't want to quote a release date because we still have it in development.

We are releasing 13-16MY devices for shipment on September 1st. Tuning database updates for the 11/12 devices will be available for download on the same day (to answer PowerstrokePops question. Please see my earlier posts in this thread for more details on what that addresses).

Those devices may or may not ship with SOFT software. If not, they will come with HP levels up to our 600RWHP tune in the dyno graphs below, and SOFT will come as a software update afterwards.

We still have a lot of preparation to do, and I'm simply unsure if we can fit everything in the allotted time and still test everything completely.

Edit to add- the September 1st shipments will most likely be nGauge products. nDash firmware will be ready roughly a week later, and shipments of nDash around the second week in September respectively.

Never ran y'all's products before. Is there any one benefit between the ndash and the ngauge? Does one have more abilities or features than the other?

The most noticeable differences are going to be screen size and overall device size. The nDash is larger and can monitor more PIDs at one time.

Will SOTF be available for 6.4's also when released or only 6.7's?

Yes.

I have a ~70rwhp DPF-on calibration ready, and have a larger one in testing that's right at 500rwhp, however it needs further proving, as I still need to ensure there won't be any longetivity issues with the aftertreatment system long-term.

The 70 (roughly) HP tune will be perfectly safe for towing. The largest one will not.
