Hahhahaha every time I see a 6.0 or 6.4 with 4 bolts per cylinder, it makes my eyes hurt.

I'm excited to see where this build goes though.

Same here man. as much as it sucks to HAVE to do it, it was the next step for the truck. currently thinking about doing something very interesting with the fuel system..... so it should be fun once it is back together. :)

CRank and cam both look good ish. the main bearings have some odd wear/heat marks on them, but i think its from the crank walking. I am hitting up the machine shop today, probably going to go ahead and throw a colt stage 2 in there, because why not. should be getting a billet flexplate as well because mine somehow got a bit bent.... machine shop will balance my rotating assembly while it is there. i think i got pretty lucky on this.

Sounds like it, new oil pump too. Take that thing apart and see what the pump gears look like.

Not sure of the mileage but it would be a good time to do some preventative maintenance while its torn down, belts, thermostats, water pump, idler pulleys. All inexpensive things that can cause large headaches after the fact if one or more gave out.

Basically all of that minus the water pump is less than 10k miles since i did it. truck has like 135k or something like that on it now, i did belts, tensioners, t-stats and all that stuff at 125k. was thinking hard about doing a billet water pump, if the price is right of course.
