I did mine about 40k miles ago one at a time. 15k miles with 205/85 injectors and stock turbo and about 2k miles with what's in my sig. Havent really towed heavy but have done a lot of racing. Figure the studs are reusable so if it ever does pop I can redo it the "right way" and I'm only out...
Do you happen to have a picture of your fuel bowl with all those fittings and where did you get the fittings to go from 14x1.5 to 1/2" and 16x1.5 to 1/2"? Thanks
I understand. I know I won't hold fuel pressure until I get a better fuel pump. I was just telling my experience between the blue spring and stock spring.
I put the blue spring in my truck before I had a fuel pressure gauge. When I put the gauge on it was reading 80psi, so I put the stock spring back in and now it sits at 60psi. Mine runs quieter at 60psi then 80psi. Not sure about fuel mileage though. Also at 60psi I had less fuel pressure drop...
The injectors that are in my truck had 120k miles when there where sent in to be built bigger. They also had 300+ degree oil and melted plastic go through them. I sent them to Rykan at Holders Diesel and he did a fantastic job on them about 10k miles later and they still purr like a kitten. so...
I had an 02 f250 gasser with 6" lift with 36x15.50 on 16x10 before and it rubbed the leaf spring on the driver side. I can't remember if it rubbed on the passenger side. It also rubbed the front bumper but I just trimmed it.
