Head studs and EGR delete
It really stinks, I mean right after picked it up I popped the hood to see a intercooler boot that's cheap and call ming off along with 2turbo bolts missing and a bunch of my plastic broke etc- powerstrokenit

The 3 weeks would not have been so bad. But I got the truck back with a cheap ic pipe which popped off after 20miles ..bolts missing everywhere parts they charged for not on the truck. All of my plastic clips broken, fan guard missing etc- powerstrokenit

No the quote does not include new heads . he wanted over $995 for head machine work. My warranty company said they were gauging as should only cost $180 per head- powerstrokenit

Well it was not a low quote ..I went to them because they supposedly specialized in power strokes. I figured it would be better than the dealer for the same price and would be helping local business. Man was I wrong. Its missing bolts all over etc . they put 72miles on it etc- powerstrokenit

Well had the truck back for 10min.already saw an egr bolt missing, a turbo bolt missing, the other bolt is old but the charged me for a turbo install kit, a bunch of my plastic clips missing, my boot to my turbo is not ford factory some cheap one, its already come off twice...- powerstrokenit

OK guys I took my 06 in to have it checked since I have an extended warranty...The shop found over $7500 of stuff they wanted to fix ..here's my question ..basically to have headstuds and a egr delete w new oil cooler etc. They are saying over $5000 ..seems high to me ..thoughts- powerstrokenit

I am a new 6.0 owner, but I researched a bunch on what was needed to make my truck more reliable. So I took it in to a local shop and they just seem to be overcharging me...I have attached the invoices. the $3300 invoice is to my warranty co. the $1500 invoice is to me.
