    I've got the duel rate Icon springs. They cured *most* of the lean on my F250. I got the springs from Precision Metal Fab, who also makes spring shims, to help get things perfectly level. They make a lot of really nice stuff, which I've tortured over the years.

    I put the stock tune back in the truck and all is well. No more codes. I have to say, the transmission is far smoother with the stock tune, as well. I have a hard time believing that the rail is being drained with a "50hp" tow tune. I'm curious if there's something else causing it. I may try...

    Yes, I change them every other oil change. This issue has very specific effects that happens under very specific conditions. It's not one of those "catch-all", "boogyman" problems like you see with clogged fuel filters, where the truck just generally runs like crap.

    Boost without fuel, in a diesel, does not directly equal more power. I'd venture to say that you could add your 3 pounds of boost without making any other adjustments.     The bumps and bouncing aren't the problem. It's the tree branches and crap on the ground in the orchards. With the bar recessed like mine, most of the crap hits the bumper and deflects before it gets to the bar.

    Replied! I love the look of the big, curved bars, but I don't think one would survive with the way I use my truck! The recessed mount on my 24" bar still emits a ton of light and protects it from all the things that try to attack it on the farm!

    Ebay $99 24" bar fits perfectly between the tow hooks. A piece of aluminum angle, mounted to the bumper bracket above and it's a pretty easy install. I've been beating this one down for over a year, and it's still going strong.

    I had an EGT sensor go bad on me, right after I bought the truck. It threw a check-engine light, but I was still able to drive it.

    Just to update this thread (since I hate searching, only to find threads with my exact problem but no resolution) I was able to update my SCT tuner via their software and they seem to have support for Ford's new update sorted out. I was able to flash the truck and I haven't had any issues.
