Anyone working on any cool hid and/or led retrofits? I have a set of OEM headlights I wanna tear apart and redo super custom, not just paint.

Should fit 05 up without many if not any modifications. I believe the only differences are brake lines/brackets I could be mistaken though.

Check out the 6.4 headlight painting page. It'll be similar to yours as far as regular advice goes... http://powerstrokearmy.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1155924#post1155924

    Help with Icon 4.5" lift

You can do the painting yourself, the projectors are a little more in depth. I only painted mine, and I have really bright bulbs (not the blue ones) and I can barely see the advantage. Most vehicles I've been in that have projectors, actually have less light than my headlights.

    Help with Icon 4.5" lift

I like the classic 05+ 6.0 front end a ton. Especially with white, just paintmatch everything, and paint the inside of your headlights, instead of just tinting them :) But your truck has soo much "sleekness" which is kinda what I'm going for.

    Help with Icon 4.5" lift

Yea probably, but I don't know if I wanna go up anymore because of virtual rear gearing with 35's vs 37's besides, my 35's only have 2000 on them right now. So that could be 2-3 yrs for me... I just found that procomp has some reasonable rear leaf lift options. So i can get rid of my stacked...

I'm looking into rear spring lift, and going up to a 6 inch front lift, instead of 4.

    Help with Icon 4.5" lift

Is that 4 inches on 37s? Or 6 inches? I'm at 4 inches of lift now with 35's and Fuel 20x12's with -44mm offset, but my rear blocks are a bit too tall, so I'm going to level the front end soon, so basically 6 inches. I might just buy 6 inch lift coils, and don't forget to get them powdercoated...

    Help with Icon 4.5" lift

Wow killer looking truck. I have a white 08 CCLB, I'd love to go that sleek.... I have some paint chips and small dents that are getting fixed in the spring, and then the door handles, but wow, your truck is gorgeous. You have any more pics?

That's your gray truck? I'd probably PTM the housings and orange reflector, but take the old reflectors from the original headlights that are all chrome, and paint them to match black. Kinda like this... So paint the reflector black, but the chrome housing, and the orange middle reflector PTM...

The old sealant on mine came out pretty easy. Great project. BTW, anyone on here do any real exotic total rebuilds? Like not just HID's, but light bars, halos, other cool stuff? Or a light bar cut into where the reflector would be? I'm looking at buying another set someday and doing a total...

And they still get condensation in them? Make sure that the black "tape" on the back is on right, and they are sealed well. OH and don't forget to make sure the seals around the bulbs are all on well. That could cause a problem.

Do you have stock lights with condensation? After I painted mine, just once or twice, I had a little bit of condensation and it would go away very quickly, out the one way valve for condensation. That's what that funny piece of black "tape" is on the back of the light housing. If yours are...

Shoulda posted a long time ago.... lol Here's a pic of my truck with the headlights (of course) and I got the lift and big wheels and tires since then too. and a front shot too... Forgive that she's dirty, they are really clear and look great when clean. This was the night I got my lift...

    2008 xl grill repair

Yea, I've been told to repair it on the back. But I'm still trying to figure out what stuff to use. I think if I put a little on the front, when I sand it back, it could fill up. Plus I think fusion or duplicolor has a plastic hole filling primer, not sure though.
