So it appears the front cover of my hpop blew out...yay. Had to send it out to the shop now so they can inspect it and see what went wrong. More waiting

That's the sad part. Just replaced 3 injectors and hpop but the threads stripped on the hpop before I got to the 8 ft lbs, so they warrantied it out and sent me the high performance one. Might have to warranty it out again. Sad sad day

I'm sorry got carried away earlier but it's a billet high performance pump and maybe 400 miles

Well I just put in a new hpop that was an upgraded machined steel...could it be left over from the previous one?

Well...pulled the ipr and there were what appeared to be brass shavings on the screen...where could brass come from?!!! I'm now lost (-_-)

i most likely will but I havent decided it is the problem yet, gonna check the ipr first. does that sound like a pcm problem? oh and the truck just died at 70 mph on the highway today...

if i were looking at getting a new pcm which module should I go with considering im a 2005 with a 2004 motor? Also because ive replaced everything you can think of and i keep getting random problems. But the reason I think it might be my pcm is because randomly my scanguage will go blank then...

what all do i need for the swap? do i need a different pedestal and if so can i just swap that with him as well or should i mod mine...just trying to figure out what all i need

Cause his is a cclb and mine is an ex. So driving his wouldn't be the same and his silencer is still in. Also he just uses his to haul the family and firewood around. I guess my only real concern is that mine has 118xxx and his has 230xxx and I know I'd need to pull it apart and clean the vanes...

ok so I have a buddy of mine that has as 03 and he is willing to trade me my turbo for his so I can get some more whistle out of mine. I know I can remove the ring for more whistle but are there any advantages or disadvantages to doing this? are the turbos the same size, will one boost more or...

Found the culprit! O ring from the hpop to the discharge line. I probably over torqued it. 8 lbs comes real quick!

Yeah I know this on the air test. Just no way to air test unfortunately. So I figured it was with something I did in the injectors replacement or contaminant and sucked through ipr...and I do have early 04 oil rails

And I didn't pull nipple cups. But assumed they were fine since I didn't see any oil spit out

Yeah I checked nipples, they are perfect. Checked o rings in injectors and no Knicks or cracks. Pulled ipr tonight and screen was perfectly in tact. Also when I pulled the valve cover if I had a bad seal. When I jumped the started wire shouldn't I have seen oil squirting out. Cause I didn't?

Ugh...dead again lol. Died going down the highway and won't build icp at all. Thought I blew a nipple ring so I tore it apart and used starter wire and no oil squirted out. Dummy plug gaskets good. Pulled stand pipe and it didn't seat right. Fixed that and I'll build icp slowly but not 500. So...
