About two years ago i had an issue with the passenger side headgasket. I was talking to one of the techs and he said they had seen another one come in near the same time as me with a similar issue but they "claimed" to be untuned. Other than those two I havent heard of many others.

Saw the post on your website and glad to see the updates are on the way. After 3 years of waiting for an update its nice to see the recent hard work to get this rolled out. Hopefully it will solve those issues for the slam, but looking forward to the idea of upgraded overall drivability.

Ive had mine for about two years now with vinyl and i like it. I have 20% tint all around though so i think it's a nice blend. My only complaint is at times it looks a tad like a mega cab since the a pillar color is only a couple of inches wide but the back of the cab is a good 10 inches of white.

Could you elaborate more on how main studs dont add strength or structural rigidity to the block? Thats the first time ive heard that so im curious. Also, are you saying the crank doesnt flex or that crank flex is not causing the issue...just trying to clear this up. Thanks

This would make it very hard to check bearing clearances for the new rods, rod to block clearances, probably not possible to get the pistons past the journals and if you can you need to be careful of scratching the journals. Doubt it would be possible to get some sort of piston ring compressor...

Does this happen often? I thought that was one of the bigger contributors to a blown turbo.

I noticed on the video a quick drop in rpms near the top of 3rd and I've seen it on my truck since i got it. Does anyone know what this is? I've always just assumed it was the tc locking but I've never got any confirmation on that.

Most of the "updates" i've gotten are just the same tune with a shift strategy from a lower tune. I wasn't comfortable with the 165 tune paired with the stock trans tune, so i left it as is. I still get the hard clunk shifts at part throttle but hey, what can you argue when these are "offroad...

I think this was more for easy access to the clamp on the exhaust manifold to the turbo as opposed to pulling it though the fender. looking forward to the video of the install!

134 in mine with just spartan 200 tune and obviously was still wanting more. I know ford and hajek had one on the salt flats with upgraded turbo, fueler and injectors and it hit 182. but 180 on an open track doesnt take near the balls that 140 does on the street.

I know the 395/735 torque curve peaked at 1600 and flatlined until around 2600, and the updated tune just increased lower end torque and had a slowly dropping off curve after 1600. Even just looking at the curves it doesnt match other sheets or even seat of the pants. My truck pulls hard down...

Just for future safety reference, you can get a new door handle unit from ford that does not have the key hole, its essentially the same thing as the passenger side door. I think it was around 150 to have replaced but you dont have to worry about anyone taking a screwdriver to the key hole.
