Your last line brings up an interesting reoccurring thought for me..There seems to be a mystique that comes along with true posi rears like they are inherently gnarly and dangerous. If one really knows how to drive and ain't scared with white knuckle steering input, (btw not implying that you are at all) in my estimation they [lockers] of whatever make or variant raise the bar on your truck. I go hammer down on highway at 80-90 in rain no issues. The only thing I really needed to re-train my brain for w the aftermarket rear was parking the truck. Yup really, because on inclines with the lash of the locker it will roll about 12"-14" after you throw it in park and let off brakes. Can be a real eye opener the first time you find it out lol.
