Yes, considering throwing some more aggressive timing at it. I dont see the point in changing gears down for just a couple more hooks on this truck anyway.



Did you monitor what your RPMS were before the boot popped?



Mine is holding a solid 4200 going down the track with the new gear set up


Gears wouldn't help anyway. A tune that doesn't pull timing away above 4000rpm would make it run much better.

Hope to not have another blown boot issue, we'll see.

Took it out and hooked it to a dozer tonight...

The front axle didn't like it at all both inner and outer shafts are toast and one lockout.

Yea I have some parts being over nighted. Have to call ford when they open and see about some shafts. I had noticed that your truck was there when I was. Next time you up lmk. might try to meet you and put a face to a screen name lol.

I got 3rd in that class it started to hop and I got out of it. I broke at Peoria on Thursday and got 3rd I'll get the video of it and post it.
