Where did Shane learn to do this?

Previous parts for my truck and sled lead to learning what works and what doesn't. Being a mechanic also has allowed me to work on a variety of different setups and see different ways to build things. Wanting to improve products for myself has lead to some creative solutions, the pipe extending into the turbo outlet so it is always centered and it stays in place better while working with the cab on is one example. I have lots of pictures and notes plus many hours to remind me to always try to provide the easiest installation even if it takes more effort to build or costs a bit more, nothing worse than needing a bunch of tools to remove or fix a part when your on the side of the road or 7000ft up.

^^^ couldn't agree more, that's why my buddy did a lot of things on my truck the way he did, simplicity of working on it if it's ever needed when we are on a trip. Your work looks awesome Shane, as always. Im glad you're gating both banks of the engine. A build of this caliber should really be gating both sides. Keep up with the sick work, and posting of the sick pictures! You need to get down to one of these big truck events like Rudys or TS!

Matt, can't wait for this thing to get done. On one hand, I'm really not surprised the originally set up didn't work out, although I admire the time and effort you have spent on this project. I think you're on the right track and can't wait to see this thing running and putting down some big power!

Inside view of the intermediate pipe. Shane extended the pipe a little past the vband so it sits inside the exhaust housing and makes a better fit on the flange. It's the little things this guy does.

Getting ideas for gate placement. I wanted to be able to gate both banks of the engine, but love the simplicity of one gate. Not wanting to lose the benefits of having divided up pipes, Shane made this merge so the up pipes remain divided all the way up to the gate. A 50mm JGS will be reused from my previous set up.

That is exactly how I did my 50mm JGS gate.;)

Matt sent up the atmo turbos and his mount along with a bunch of piping, flanges, etc. Hoping to continue building later this week. Pics to come when I have more progress to show.

Matt, can you give me a rundown on what the motor/trans/fuel/air setup will be on your truck once done? I may have missed it earlier, if I did I apologize.

It's gonna run that's for damn sure.

Triples s467 high pressure, s369 low pressures
JGS 50mm gate in the up pipes
Beech Dual Fuelers
100% over nozzles
R&r rods
Delipped pistons
ARP studs
Oringed heads
RCD Springs and pushrods
MPD exhaust manifolds
MPD intake manifolds
Oil cooler relocation
Spearco intercooler
BTS 4r100

That's about the bulk of it. Feel like I'm forgetting something. Truck had 38k-ish miles on it when I dropped it off to get built in May of 2012. Maybe put 200 miles on it sense then. Haha.
