light bar in bumper

how is everyone mounting the light bars in the lower bumper ? im wanting like a 40" not the little 20" one pics and info would be cool ! thanks

I just used the brackets that came with the bar. Those brackets look very nice. I think bar sticks out further with them than my setup though

CUZICAN, what brand light bar is that and also how do you feel about having to remove your tow hooks? I've used my tow hooks a lot on my previous truck. I'd feel sort of naked going off-road without them.

It's just a ebay special light bar, my truck never really sees anything offroad, at best the light just gets used on some backroads, so I couldn't justify spending the money on a rigid. This is the same reason I had no problem cutting off the tow hooks off.

KD Fab brackets FTW. The curved 40" is where it's at. We have the KD brackets and tow hook eliminator kits in stock here.

wish I saw the tow hook eliminating bracket. When I realized they were not removal-able I cut the damn things off. I have the kd fab mount with a Totron 40" curved light. Its basically the best of the cheap lights. Its like daylight for as far as you can see.

It is like a bumper bracket but without the tow hook on it. You use these so you don't have to cut your factory brackets up.

Im interested in a curved bar more now that I won't have to cut. Josh I guess we will have to package that and that CTS we discussed a while back lol I still haven't been able to make a move on that either my job has me working to death so I put it all on the back burner but haven't forgotten!
