I don't know of to many guys running a 14" wide rim. I've worked on a few pickups with wide wheels like that and they play hell on the front wheel bearings. But that's just my opinion. Whatever makes a guy happy...

I can tell you you might want to ride in one first. I'm on 22x12 and 355/40's and its stiff, like no give at all with an 8K lbs truck. I'm probably going to have to move up to a 2.5 body shock to smooth it out some. I couldn't imagine what the ride would be like losing even more side wall.

Here is one I did for a customer. I don't really agree with this setup but its what he wanted.

Stock Height front, Block Removed in Rear.

24x14 American Forces

I know you have to give the customer what he wants but that looks like total dog sh!t. Actually, that's an insult to dog sh!t.

It was one of the reasons I wasn't going to buy another diesel after I wrecked my 6.0. I don't like the direction the trend is going towards. It makes us all look bad when you mention what you drive and that crap is what they think of.

Its reminding me more and more of the Honda Civic ricer trend from a few years ago....

If you have Instagram take a look at TRUCKRICE.2
I just checked that out. Good grief. Some of those are pretty ridiculous. I'll have to say I've never been a big fan of big wheels and small sidewall tires. Especially on a truck. That's just my opinion...

I thought the point of a decent setup was to protect the rim with the tire lol, not the opposite. It's their decision to spend money on this BS but I can't even fathom to do this....

Was glad to see the pics that got posted. Wanted to see how ridiculous it looked. Still never seen one in person, it's not a big fad around here. If i did, I'd definitely be snapping a pic lol. They're all about pavement princesses that are lifted but never see the first spec of dirt.

Or a lot like mine, leveled slightly larger tires and serve a purpose, that's the biggest trend locally. Heck, just at work of the 8, 03-10 super duties in the parking lot, 5 are like this.

Then there's this guy....
